Innovative menus showcasing fresh, local ingredients and a convivial atmosphere conspire to create lasting memories. The Shelburne Inn Restaurant & Pub is a place you want to linger. Fine casual dining celebrates the bounty of one of the richest culinary regions of the Pacific Northwest. Our artisan breads and desserts are all made by hand in the Inn’s own bakery. Emphasis is placed on wines and micro-brewed beers of the region. The Pub is English in style, but with a distinctly American twist. The elegant dining room and stained glass espresso lounge with its overstuffed chairs are the perfect setting for either a couple desiring a romantic setting or a group out to enjoy each other’s company. A honeymoon, anniversary, birthday or just a quiet get-away is all the excuse you need to book your next sojourn to the Long Beach Peninsula. Treat yourself to a sumptuous dinner and wine tasting experience, and the ease of strolling back to your room after dessert. The Innkeepers’ Breakfast is a daily event with multiple breakfast entrees to choose from and is served complimentary to all Shelburne Inn guests in the newly re-decorated Dining Room.. Enjoy the famous Shelburne Inn breakfasts served with a large helping of warm hospitality and genuine personal service that has helped make the Shelburne Inn a popular Pacific Northwest destination. The North Coast natives drew from vast stores of wild edibles, which included salmon, venison, elk, berries, wild mushrooms and edible greens. Immigrants have come to this region from all over the world, of course, and two strong ethnic influences are Scandinavian and Asian. While often the dishes we prepare are distinctly of one ethnic influence, we are unable to resist the inclination toward innovation and often find ourselves inventing a new taste sensation through the blending of different traditions. Our artistic eye plays a role when it comes to presentation. David is a potter and Laurie is a weaver, so playing with color and design comes naturally to both of them. Not to be forgotten are the two essential items of texture and flavor, the unseen elements in a dining experience and those that linger on the palate and in memory. Most importantly, we support the philosophy that the purpose of food and wine, lovingly prepared and served is to enjoy. We delight in watching that happen.
